About Me
Hey, I’m Ilyass Ouardi!
I’ve always been drawn to challenges. As a kid, math was my favorite subject—not just because it was tough, but because it felt like a puzzle waiting to be solved. While others avoided it, I saw it as an opportunity to push myself. I remember watching movies about geniuses, fascinated by the way they tackled impossible problems. I even used to look up unsolved math problems, dreaming about solving one myself. Sure, I was a naive little kid, but that fascination never really left me.
That same drive eventually led me to computer science. It felt like the perfect playground for my curiosity and honestly, my curiosity doesn’t stop there. I want to know everything. If I had enough time, I’d study every subject, dive into every discipline, and try to understand as much as humanly possible. Science, history, philosophy—there’s nothing that doesn’t intrigue me. The world is full of things to discover, and I can’t help but want to learn them all.
Right now, I’m especially excited about artificial intelligence, machine learning, and large language models—especially the ways AI is pushing the boundaries of creativity and problem-solving. But I also have a deep appreciation for the theoretical side of computer science, where the line between math and computation becomes razor-thin. I love seeing formal, elegant problem formulations and solutions that feel almost like mathematical poetry.
Beyond tech, my other great passion is football. I’ve played since I was a kid—on the streets, in teams, even at a semipro level. I live for the competition, the dribbles, the battles, the long runs. In recent years, I’ve also picked up basketball, my go-to way to unwind when I need a break from studying. I’ve even stepped into the world of modeling, which has introduced me to incredible people and given me a fresh perspective on creativity and expression.
If any of this resonates with you—whether it’s AI, problem-solving, football, or just the thrill of taking on challenges—feel free to reach out. I’m always up for an interesting discussion, a new project, or just exchanging ideas.
